I was at a time in my career when I was considering moving on from Sarah Lawrence. Terry called to say that I had been nominated for the Harvey Mudd position. I initially said that I didn’t think it would be a good fit for me, but Terry was politely and enthusiastically persistent, and I was extremely impressed after our first meeting. She had done her research both about the position and my background and did a wonderful job of showing me how HMC would be a great next step for me.
Terry is effective, thoughtful, and caring. She kept me in the loop throughout the entire process and made sure that all of my questions and concerns were addressed.
I have worked in various capacities with other search firms, and I was particularly pleased with the time that Terry took to get to know Harvey Mudd so that she could speak knowledgably about what kind of person would be more effective there. Terry manages to maintain a balance between keeping the needs of the institution at the forefront while still making candidates feel as if they are valued throughout the process.
