Mona Bowe has been named Vice President for Enrollment Management at Saint Mary’s College in South Bend, Indiana. Mona has been serving as Interim Vice President for Enrollment Management for the past few months and was chosen from a national pool of candidates for the position. She has served Saint Mary’s for 15 years in admissions and enrollment management and is highly regarded for her leadership skills, expertise and dedication both on campus as well as in state, regional and national professional organizations, including The College Board and the National Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC). Her work with underrepresented minorities was recognized by the Indiana Association of College Admission Counseling in 2004. Prior to coming to Saint Mary’s, Mona worked for the American Heart Association and Up With People, where she received the Outstanding Service Award; she also taught grade school in Mexico City. Mona received her bachelor’s degree from Normal Particular 01 del Estado de Mexico in Mexico City. She will begin her work as Vice President in May 2010.
