David Lesesne was recently named Dean of Admission and Financial Aid at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia. He brings more than twenty years of experience in higher education to R-MC, most recently serving as Dean of Admissions an Financial Aid at Sewanee: the University of the South. He previously served as Dean of Admissions at Jacksonville University in Florida and Newberry College in South Carolina. David has also served as an adjunct faculty member of history and as an assistant varsity soccer coach.
David earned a B.A. in history and political science from Wofford College (SC) and a M.A. in history from University of South Carolina. He is currently completing his doctorate degree in higher education leadership, policy and organization at Vanderbilt University. He is a member of the College Board, the National Association of College Admissions Counseling (NACAC) and the Southern Association of College Admissions Counseling (SACAC). David joins the Randolph-Macon community on August 31, 2009.
