Drew University invites applications and nominations for the position of Vice President for Enrollment Management and especially encourages interest from creative, energetic, strategic thinkers who wish to join a leadership team that is ambitious for the University. The Vice President oversees the offices of undergraduate admissions and financial assistance and provides leadership in developing marketing strategies leading to greater name recognition for Drew and continued success in increasing the diversity and quality of the student body. The Vice President reports to the President, is a member of the President’s cabinet, and works closely with the Provost, Dean of the College, Vice President for Finance and the Chief Communications Officer.
Candidates should have a strong appreciation for the liberal arts and be familiar with market challenges in private higher education. They must have a thorough knowledge of contemporary enrollment management, including the use of new communications technologies; familiarity with integrated marketing and market research; and the ability to optimize institutional, state and federal financial aid resources to achieve enrollment goals. The position requires strong managerial talent, team-building skills, analytical abilities, and excellent planning and communication skills. Significant experience in college admissions is necessary, as are fresh ideas and a collaborative style. An advanced degree is preferred.
