The College of Saint Benedict/Saint John’s University (CSB/SJU) seeks an experienced enrollment and marketing professional to serve as Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing.

The College of Saint Benedict, for women, and Saint John’s University, for men, are nationally recognized liberal arts colleges located minutes from St. Cloud, a city of 100,000 residents, and 70 miles northwest of Minneapolis and St. Paul. The colleges have a common undergraduate curriculum, identical degree requirements, and a single academic calendar. Together they enroll 3,900 students, creating the largest undergraduate liberal arts college in the United States. Campus life is characterized by a commitment to academic rigor, integrated learning, a global emphasis, a pervasive sense of community, and holistic attention to personal, spiritual, and intellectual growth. The Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing will provide leadership and strategic direction for the admission and financial aid offices, as well as the marketing services department, overseeing a staff of 46. The Vice President reports jointly to the presidents of CSB and SJU and serves on the cabinet of each institution.

Ideal candidates will have successful leadership experience in admissions, financial aid strategy, enrollment management, and marketing and institutional positioning. The successful candidate must demonstrate strategic, tactical, technical, and cultural proficiency in a complex academic setting. Working knowledge of financial aid leveraging to shape the quality and diversity of incoming classes is vital to the success of this position. The ability to manage, motivate and inspire staff is expected, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal-relations skills. A master’s degree is preferred. Candidates should have an understanding of liberal arts colleges and an appreciation for the Benedictine Catholic tradition.
