Mary M. Milbert
Mary Milbert joined Lahti Search Consultants in 2008, bringing almost 30 years of experience in admissions, financial aid, and enrollment management in higher education. She concluded her institutional career as vice president and dean of admission and financial aid at the College of Saint Benedict/Saint John’s University in Minnesota. During her career in academic administration, Mary was known both for successful hires and for her skill in matching an individual’s strengths with organizational needs and opportunities.
She was also known at these two institutions for her long-standing interest in and commitment to creating multicultural recruiting and retention strategies. The enrollment teams, under her direction, helped to develop increasingly diverse campuses. In addition, Mary, who is well-versed in NCAA Division III athletics, earned the respect of coaches for her fair and collaborative approach to recruiting qualified student-athletes.
Mary is highly respected in enrollment management circles nationwide, particularly among Catholic colleges. Her experience, connections, engaging personality, organizational skills, and work ethic make her a perfect match for search work.
A graduate of the College of Saint Benedict, Mary has been active in the Minnesota Private College Council and served on the board of the National Catholic College Admissions Association. To relax, she enjoys reading during the few solitary moments allowed by friends and relatives at her cabin in Wisconsin.
Mary is based in Cold Spring, Minnesota.
